Hidizs AP80ProX +DH80s + MM2

Running and resting with Hidizs audio products.

So, I was someone who over the years, fell out of love with music, spending most of my time listening to podcasts. Which was great, but when I started running, I wanted something a little more. My phone is too big to carry with me, so I started looking for an mp3 player. After very little thought I got a cheap one that did not last long and I replaced it with something a little more expensive. This was ok, but I was not happy with the Bluetooth connection issues or the battery life. So, my search continued.

I do not consider myself an Audiophile by any stretch of the imagination, so I was not looking at spending hundreds of pounds on a music player. I came across the Hidizs AP 80 Pro X as I was scrolling through numerous internet pages, it was the size and the shape that caught my eye at first and after reading many reviews and being attracted by the great price, I took the plunge and bought it.

Loading it with music and pairing it with my Anker Soundcore 40 Bluetooth headphones, I went out for a run. It was perfect, everything worked great. I was bitten by the music bug again and the BT headphones were not giving me the quality sound I knew that the AP80 the capable of.  Time to buy some proper earphones that I could run in as well as get the most from this mighty little player.

Ofcourse my first port of call was the Hidizs web shop, I settled on the MM-2 IEMs as it looked to me I could get varied tonal qualities using the tuning valves, almost like three different earphones in one!

I was not disappointed, the sound quality is fantastic and changing the tuning valves makes a subtle difference to the listening experience, which is great depending on what music I choose to listen to on my runs.

The AP80ProX and MM-2 IEMs are my constant companions either when I go out for a run or a good long cycle on my gravel bike. This got me thinking about music and podcasts on my phone and computer, I have an Apple 14 pro and a custom PC. Again, I goto the Hidizs web shop and saw that they had the DH80S Balanced DAC and Amp on sale. After a wee bit of research, I ordered it.

I must say when any item arrives from Hidizs, they are protected by super high-quality boxes and really look the part. The DH80S has a nice weight to it and feels premium with the CNC Aluminum chassis. Setting it up to my PC was easy with the supplied cables. I was not disappointed, everything sounded so much better through the combination of the DH80s and my MM-2 IEMs, so much so I signed up to TIDAL to try it out.  Connecting my iPhone was a little harder, if I had read the Hidizs description properly I would have realized I needed an OTG cable. After it arrived my phone is now a streaming powerhouse!

Hidizs have been a pleasure to converse with and have always had an answer to my queries. Not only have they made my runs more productive and enjoyable and my PC and phone sound beyond anything I thought capable, the quality of the products and first-class customer service has surpassed my expectations. I will always look at https://www.hidizs.net before I purchase anything audio related.
